Celeste Gusme, MA, LPC & Owner

Hello! My name is Celeste Gusme and I am the owner of Honest Counseling, PLLC. I believe my life's work is to help people, and I appreciate you allowing me to do just that. I have worked as an outpatient substance abuse counselor, career counselor, inpatient psych counselor for teens and families, group therapist for active military, and individual trauma therapist for teens and adults. I believe in the power of counseling because I have been a client myself. I understand how scary and uncomfortable it can be to reach out. However, I also understand the benefits and growth that are possible, so that is why I created Honest Counseling.

This is a space for both therapists and clients to be honest and courageous with a clear and shared goal of improving your mental health and overall well-being. You will be gently pushed outside of your comfort zone because that's where the magic happens.  I believe it takes courage to be radically honest with yourself but through this honesty comes deep self awareness and the path towards healing. You may already be aware of self-defeating behaviors but unable to stop or change. I will teach you useful techniques you will be able to use for the rest of your life. My goal is to walk with you as you find your way back home- to yourself.

Vanessa is a fully licensed clinician and has ample experience helping clients work through trauma, addiction, self-esteem issues, combating guilt and shame, and learning useful coping skills. Vanessa has worked as an office supervisor for ABA services, an inpatient counselor for alcohol and drug abuse, a trauma therapist at the children's advocacy center, and leads a support group for teen survivors of sexual abuse.  Vanessa understands how trauma can affect various areas of life, cause immense impact on thinking processes, and result in the formation of negative behavioral cycles.

Vanessa utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach and strength based approach in order to help her clients learn and use tools to improve these cycles. She likes to walk hand and hand with her clients as they explore various areas of life. Alejandra Gonzalez, MS, LPC

"Hello fellow humans! Throughout my own experience as a client and work as a counselor, the values that I appreciate most are empathy, patience, and a holistic view of mental health issues. I am trauma informed and use a combination of CBT, DBT and mindfulness in my work. I am continuing my learning through eco therapy, trauma conscious yoga, mindfulness and nutrition training.  I have worked as the only bilingual counselor at a non-profit that focused on children’s mental health and family therapy. I have also worked as a children’s shelter bilingual counselor and as a bilingual supervisor at a crisis center.  Most recently I have worked as a bilingual counselor where I focused on chronic pain, anxiety, depression, psycho-education and trauma treatment for individuals and families.  For my own self care I enjoy pilates, barre, zumba, hiking, boxing and yoga. My hobbies include making my own kombucha and sourdough, attempting to keep my small indoor plants alive, reading, and most recently bird watching. I also enjoy community classes such as cooking and volunteering at the local food bank through their farming program.  I know in my position as a counselor I am already part of the movement to break down the stigma that accompanies mental health. I take pride in what I do and I am grateful for all the experiences and connections I have made. Reach out today to schedule your free consultation."
